It is with great sadness we announce that Anna Tomlinson, our Ealing Labour friend, colleague, and councillor in Hobbayne, passed away yesterday morning (Monday 29th June 2020).

Anna was a joy to know and a good friend, she will be deeply missed by all of us who worked alongside her. Her hard work as an Ealing Labour councillor for Hobbayne made a massive difference to the residents of this borough. She was a great champion of carers, of Ealing’s Polish community of which she was a part, and of sustainable transport, being a proud owner of an electric car.

In February Cllr Tomlinson made one of the most powerful and moving speeches ever heard in the Ealing Council Chamber about her experience of living with cancer, and the brilliant care she had received from our NHS.

We know Anna’s close friends and family will be heartbroken at her passing. Ealing Labour’s thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.
