Ealing Leader Councillor Julian Bell has joined the Labour leaders of 11 other London boroughs and written to chancellor Rishi Sunak demanding answers on levelling up funding.

People in Ealing have the right to know why Sunak’s constituency has been prioritised for levelling up funding while Ealing hasn’t. Ealing is the 88th most deprived in the country. Richmondshire is the 256th.

Tory cronyism has seen £2bn of unfulfilled contracts given to alleged Tory donors while the rest of us face a £2bn council tax bombshell thanks to this Tory government.
